Scenes From the Sausage Factory

Having solved all other problems, the House Committee on Energy and Commerce, Subcommittee on Commerce, Trade, and Consumer Protection, held hearings today on "Determining a Champion on the Field: A Comprehensive Review of the BCS and Postseason College Football." You can watch the video - all two hours plus - here (Real Audio format).

Of course, if Congress was really interested in cleaning up the moral swamp that is NCAA football, it would hold hearings to investigate how it is that the nation's leading running back, who has gained 1900 yards (that's at least 100 in every game, and over 200 in four games) is not even a finalist for this year's Heisman.
