Shipping Out

Soldier, lawyer, and first-rate blogger Phil Carter is being deployed to Iraq with the 101st Airborne Division. I don't always agree with Carter's analysis, legally or politically, but he's always one of the best informed and most thoughtful writers on military issues, national security, and foreign policy.

It will be interesting to see how the Shrubhuggers will attempt to slander the author of "Iraq 2004 Looks Like Vietnam 1966" as a troop-hating traitor, while he's actually serving in country so they have the freedom to stay hunkered down in their moms' basements. Good luck, Phil, and keep your head down.
