The Day After Fathers' Day

My son's day care providers are on vacation for a couple of weeks, so my appearances here may be a bit spotty - we have alternative childcare lined up on a part-time basis, but I'm taking up the slack. This morning, we took advantage of an absolutely beautiful day, and a seriously low tide, by going to the beach. We had a wonderful time (even though I was once again being stalked by a great blue heron). It's times like this that I realize just how much I love being a father. I hope my regular readers - now enough to form a band with a full horn section! - will understand if blogging comes in a distant second place.
