Geeking Out

I am already a confirmed advocate for Mozilla's nearly-perfect Firefox browser. Not since the glory days (i.e., roughly version 2.XX) of Netscape have I experienced a better browser. Opera is good - and, needless to say, IE is beneath contempt - but Firefox is sublime.

Now, then, here's my question: Can anyone offer a compelling reason for me to switch from the generally acceptable (but no better than acceptable) Pegasus e-mail client to Firefox's cousin, Thunderbird? I await schooling.
